The War of 1812 was a military conflict between the United States, the Green, and what is now Canada[not really]. Despite the significance and long 2-year span, it ended in a stalemate.
The gruesomeness of the War of 1812 was the main inspiration of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's world-famous 1812 Overture, with its chorus of cannons and accompanying brass.
Curiously, Will Wood cannot seem to recall the events of the year that happened two centuries later.
