Overview

Background

Smobo is a courier working for the Shadowveil Royal Postal Service. as of the events of The Wiki Camp 2, xey have roughly 6 months of experience with xeir job.

Personality

Smobo is generally laid-back, albeit not very talkative. Xey have a very blunt way of speaking, and rarely use punctuation when typing or writing.

Appearance

Smobo's body is round and purple, and xey have a singular eye with a distinct red iris.

Abilities

Thanks to xeir prominent wings, Smobo has the ability to fly, as well as possessing some level of telekinetic powers to make up for xeir lack of limbs to carry things with.

Coverage

Challenge 1

Smobo discovered The Wiki Camp 2 via word of mouth during a delivery, and decided to take time off of work to join, hoping that the CLOUT won from the camp would raise xeir status as a courier.

Smobo cosplayed as xeir 2nd^[1] favorite Touhou character, Remilia Scarlet.

Challenge 2

In xeir free time, Smobo speedruns the Nintendo Entertainment System port of Paperboy to enhance xeir mail delivery skills, not unlike a surgeon playing Super Monkey Ball to increase precision and hand-eye-coordination. Due to Smobo's prior experience with Paperboy, xey were very eager to join the robust competitive scene for the game once xey had spare time to do so. Smobo's esports team of choice is HaZe, which xey discovered thanks to their ad campaigns in The Wiki Camp 2.

After witnessing Alucard get kicked from HaZe for never having played a Touhou game^[2], Smobo's interest in the franchise was piqued, and xey quickly became a fan due to the games' similar mechanics to Paperboy.

Between challenges

Before Challenge 3 was revealed, Smobo started learning combos in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike (with help from Nurse Cap) out of a desire to bond with xeir teammates. Smobo's character of choice is Remy, although xey are willing to use any character with lots of projectile attacks.

Challenge 3

Once the page for Challenge 3's Edit War was revealed, Smobo made a dedicated tab to show off a custom Smobo Combo. Xeir edit was later overwritten.

Between challenges

On December 20th, Smobo recorded xemself playing Paperboy (NES), with the intention of uploading it to The Wiki Camp 2 once editing was reopened. On December 29th, xey created a gaming page to showcase this recording, as well as all potential future recordings.

Challenge 4

Smobo did not create the Pokémon page. Xey found it in a wet cardboard box on the side of the road while visiting Wiki City, whereafter xey brought it back to xeir home in Shadowveil to nurse it back to health and send it on its way to The Wiki Camp 2. Let this be an inspiration to you all.

Challenge 5

A young shadow beast stands in xeir bedroom. It just so happens that today, the 30th of March, 2023, is this young beast's birthday. Though it was about a year ago xey joined The Wiki Camp 2, it is only today xey will be given a copy of Vriska Kart Tour for the Vriskbox 8
