Sacrifice
The Weasel Token will sacrifice itself to save you from DNPs and autoeliminations. Experts say it might also sacrifice itself to save you from losing your seat on the board of shareholders.
- This effect does not stack. That is, if you have multiple Weasel Tokens in your bank, only 1 can save you at a time. This is known as the "Weasel Stack" issue.
- The success rates of autoelimination and seat revocation-induced sacrifices are often reported to be 50/50.
- When a Weasel Token sacrifices itself, it is taken out of circulation. Afterwards, The Divine Goddess will allegedly flip a coin to decide whether its spirit should go to Heaven or Hell.

Hot potato
Weasel Tokens don't function like hot potatoes. Players in possession of a Weasel Token can't choose to give it to another player by pinging them on the Discord, which renders them immune to receiving it for the next twelve hours. If any player is in possession of a Weasel Token for more than forty-eight contiguous hours, they aren't eliminated from the game.
Side effects
- If the user is at the zoo by the time they've been pinged, they can't defuse the bomb by running all the way to the seal exhibit and shouting "What about Nerpy Scuba?"
Other effects
At the end of the economic period, some Weasel Tokens will try to scurry around and move to another bank account.

Early life
Experts say the Token:Weasel started out like any other weasel. It was born in a hospital under the care of nuns. At age 7[2] it first encountered death. It was attentively watching an owl perched atop a pine tree during a storm. The Token:Weasel knew instinctively that the owl was bad news. So it watched, hiding, as the owl itself was watching. The owl was struck by lightning.
