Also known as BK, they prefer the usage of they/he pronouns, because that's just how they're feeling right now. They heard of The Normal Camp 2 from their roommate Sail, through h̶i̶m̶ ̶s̶u̶b̶m̶i̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶k̶ ̶r̶e̶s̶u̶m̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶p̶a̶n̶y̶ ̶a̶g̶a̶i̶n̶s̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶. intriguing him through th various work opportunities and relationship possibilities provided. They were previously employed at other corporations before Normal Camp, but they were fired each and every time due to his employers finding his general odor unbearable.
Backstory
One evening, in the mysterious universe of Aphélie, while searching for a main weapon, the young Prince Coolax tried several blades and eventually the push daggers. One day, Coolax got hit in the head by an anvil and died. Meanwhile elsewhere, Blunt Butter Knife was born.
They had a relatively normal childhood as an only child in a stable household in the Bloombergia suburbs. He had a moderate amount of friends and pursued higher education at university after his high school career finished. This is also around the time where he obtained and subsequently lost his first ever job as a janitor due to this previously mentioned odor problems from before.
Butter Knife attempted to get into the Shadesborough Academy For Business and Acting, but unfortunately failed the entrance exam. To compensate, they enrolled in Secondasmith University, aiming for a degree in Political Science. During his time there, his parents began to get fed up with his inability to keep a job due to his smell, and kicked him out of their house. By scraping together what little finances they had, they managed to purchase a two person dorm room which led to their first encounter with their lifelong "acquaintance" and eccentric party bro, Sail. As they both lived in the same dorm, they became well acquainted with each other and became close friends during their time at the university.
Dissatisfied with the career they were working towards, Butter Knife dropped out of Secondasmith, with Sail closely followed afterwards, keen on not losing his only true friend. Despite their inability for the two to keep their jobs for long, they continued living together in a slightly rundown apartment regardless. They only moved out into a one of slight higher caliber once Sail got a job at Normal Camp 2 as it's Credit Analyst.
Wanting to help his friend out, and realizing our glorious corporation would never discriminate on the basis of one's uncontrollable odor, Sail decided to egg on Butter Knife to submit a resume for the company.
Recently, Butter Knife has acquired the power of Faded Cyan, using it's great abilities to start their own business where they sell fax machines. The two fairies that gave them their powers, Blune and Bleno, consider this to be a huge waste of potential. I say go for it, BK! What do those lame fairies know, they aren't even normal, anyhow!
Personality
Butter Knife is an indifferent person. They're rather a fan of quiet areas and enjoy independent ordinate activities and hobbies. Due to their more reserved nature, they usually act as the straight-man to their friend Sail's antics. Although they enjoy Sail's company most of the time, their dream is to obtain the promotion as to earn enough money to move out into a quiet suburban space, resembling their childhood home as to live out the rest of their life in peace.
