Explain/Grass World Countries
Outside of the game, the Grass World, being as easygoing as it is, is comprised of thousands of countries. They mostly correspond to a certain sports team, most commonly an association football team. Because there are thousands of unique cultures, S-Guy, the man behind most of the worldbuilding, looked to Atlas Altera, a unique project that seeks to include as many cultures and languages as possible. The project has over 1,000 countries that speak hundreds of languages representing virtually every language family in existence. However, there are some exceptions as to where the teams are from, as well as whether they do correspond to a team.

Okinada
Okinada was one of the entries of the list of articles that the remaining competitors can make. The 34 island provinces represent the 34 species of pinniped. The fact that it is a monarchy with provinces refers to the Real World country of Canada, whose national anthem has a similar name.

Wilford was named after Wilford Brimley, who inspired the design of the G'joob, a Mythical Monster from My Singing Monsters.
Aquilica
Aquilica was inspired by the OTL United States and its largest collegiate athletics organization, the NCAA. There are 362 countries representing every Division I institution, including those that are transitioning to and from said division.
Golden Trail
By looking at its flag, you can tell that the Golden Trail Republic was inspired by Georgia Tech. Another clue is the way both are spelled:
