A globule à la jelly

Jelly is a chewy food that is the inevitable final product of all food manufacturing. It arrives in these perfect spheres. Suspended inside each jelly are bubbles, which add to the airy texture so craved for by foodies.

Properties

Jelly is squishy, bouncy, and stretchy, classifying it as a lesser metal. Its elasticity makes it a foremost ingredient in rubber. When subjected to high temperatures, jelly melts into goo. Goo cannot be cooled back into jelly, however, making that jelly forever lost.

Culinary use

Jelly is not used often in food, except by collectors and enthusiasts. The only slightly publicly acceptable mode of jelly is gelatin, and even then it's not really anyone's #1 pick.
