The Nutshell Token is a quaint little token. When played, the token's user may choose one target to encase in a Nutshell. Its effects vary between targets.

  • If a shareholder is chosen, a percentage of their shares will be redistributed evenly among everyone else who participated in the economic period. This takes effect at the end of the economic period, unless something is specified to come after.
    • The percentage of shares taken is initially 20%. Successive Nutshell Token plays (on the same shareholder, within the same economic period) will take 5% less each time until the percentage reaches 5%.then what?
      • For example, if three Nutshell Tokens are played on the same shareholder, the second and third Nutshell Token will respectively take 15% and 10% of their remaining shares.
    • If the user doesn't specify which shareholder to target, the Nutshell Token will target whoever has the most shares.
    • You cannot target someone with less shares than you.
  • If a bank account is chosen, it will be partially restricted for the rest of the economic period. Bank Items can neither enter nor exit this account, and its owner won't be able to participate in item trades with anyone but The Divine Goddess. They may still use tokens that can target competitors, albeit only on themselves.
    • A person's bank account can only be restricted once. Furthermore, only one bank account can be restricted per economic period. In the event of two attempts to target a bank account, the earliest play goes first, and the Nutshell Token is refunded to the second.
    • For balance reasons, your bank will be fully restricted by doing this. This is prioritized over all other actions, essentially meaning it'll become your sole economic period move. There is no limit to how many times you can become restricted by this.
  • If The Toy Where You Put The Shape In The Corresponding Hole is chosen, the page will be deleted if it isn't already, and its creation will be locked for one month. Effect can stack.
  • If a token is chosen, one of that token type will be removed from The Divine Goddess' possession, and will be re-distributed to one random still in competitor on the player's team. If The Divine Goddess does not currently own the specified token, one is created out of nothing and distributed. However, this shall decrease the value of that tokenhow much?, since printing money causes inflation.

If anything else is chosen, it is officially considered to have a nutty aroma (which has no consequential effects) and no other effects happen to it.

The odd aura concerning the nutshell...

The Nutshell Token is composed of a nutshell. Nutshells may either be wholly intact or divided twain. A wholly intact nutshell will carry out all other effects perfectly as described on this page. However, a nutshell which is divided may break and fizzle out.

Every individual Nutshell Token is predetermined to be intact or intwain. A divided token can never be conjoined, except through the passive presence of owning a Glue Token. A whole token may split in half when subject to intense temperature or pressure. If a Nutshell Token is bought or traded, it may become cracked in shipping. This can be remedied by ponying up 500 Dollars during the transfer to The Divine Goddess.

The aura

Nutshells emit an odd aura. This may have unexpected effects.

This token's sell price increases by 5% when played and decreases by 6% after being sold. Round down as needed.

  • It has a 20% chance of bringing The Tower into effect. If the tower can not be brought into effect at the time the token is played, it is not brought into effect.
    • Contrary to what the page may say, this is not the only way it can be brought into effect.

Also, In a Nutshell has the ability to invoke the Nutshell Token's effects without having a Nutshell Token in the bank. When this happens, In a Nutshell becomes In a ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ , who does not have this ability. When In a ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ receives a Nutshell Token, the Nutshell Token is discarded and In a ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ becomes In a Nutshell.

Also, competitors on Nutshell (Team) have the ability to invoke the Nutshell Token's effects without having a Nutshell Token in their banks. When this happens, Nutshell (Team)'s page is cast into a world devoid of any color.... Its members are also removed and will each be relocated to a random team.

About Nutshell (Team)

Thanks to Nutshell (Team)'s hardy encasing, its members experience near-total isolation from the outside world. When Nutshell (Team) is put up for elimination, its members are exempt from any voting mechanics The Divine Goddess sets forth and will instead abide by the voting system established in Challenge 7, in addition to the following condition(s):

  • Nutshell (Team)'s members can't receive votes from other teams, with the caveat that they can only vote amongst themselves.

Economy

Upon joining Nutshell (Team), your bank account is encased in a nutshell and will remain as such until you leave the team. What this entails is defined below:

  • People with nutshelled bank accounts may only trade and play tokens amongst themselves. They can't be targeted or affected by token plays made by anyone outside of Nutshell (Team).

When this page is locked

  • All pages in the Token namespace are moved to the Main namespace, and the Token namespace is locked. Tokens that are recognized by the Bank will be categorized under Category:Tokens (official). Yayy
  • There may never be a maximum number of board suggestions that one can PM to User:Satomi. This does not necessarily mean that The Divine Goddess will necessarily introduce accept all of them.
