Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the official marching band of Wiki City State University. This 400-piece marching band with green and gold uniforms performs at the National Stadium during WCSU varsity sporting events, and has made occasional appearances in other games at the stadium as well. Outside of sports, the band marches up and down the "plus", culminating in a 15-minute concert at College Square.

History

Adjacent to the main campus is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club, a fun place for students to gather and have fun. In the 1890s, a 5-piece brass band was formed, and a few years later, WCSU suggested the band play the halftime show at a football game against Chubsworld University. As the decades went on, the quaint little brass band turned into a scramble band for a brief moment before becoming the modern-day Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band we all know and love.
