GenderFemale (she/her)

Terra (created by "Airy") is a female competitor on The Wiki Camp 2 and former employee of ██████. She is most known for her unusual habit of obfuscating information about herself.

Personality

Much of Terra's current and former personality is unknown. What is known is that she has a tendency to isolate herself, and experiences drastic emotional highs and lows. The shifts in her mood make it difficult to pin down a consistent personality, but she is most often described as a self-conscious recluse with a disdain for the world. Terra prefers to keep to herself in most situations, even around those closest to her. Terra's habit of isolation has gone as far as to have her move into a home in the forest, out of reach to most people. Terra has a sizeable amount of issues stemming from concerns for how others perceive her, to the extent that she now refuses to let herself be physically seen. Although her self confidence seems low, there have been moments (most prominently during her earlier life) where she has felt overwhelming hubris, usually from her own achievements, and is more than willing to revel in the feeling. This almost always ends with her self confidence returning to its natural low state, leaving Terra feeling a sense of shame and disgust, an emotion she expresses through manual obfuscation of her work.

A trait of Terra's is a seemingly indifferent attitude towards matters which do not pertain to her. Terra is almost always unable to display any sympathy or increase in focus in conversations, most notably conversations pertaining to serious issues. In contrast, when the topic is related to her in some form, Terra becomes tense and concerned, even if being discussed in a positive manner. She will want to speak further in-depth and begin to engage in discussions almost uncannily, either to alleviate any concerns either speaker has or simply for her own benefit. Whether this is a result of a mental condition or a conscious effort is unknown.

Despite her struggles, Terra is a semi confident gardener and talented designer, having managed to grow crops and ornamental flowers as well as designing her own home. She has also dabbled in journaling, but finds herself too uninteresting to keep regularly updated.

Appearance

Normally, Terra is a short terracotta pot filled with soil. Her most notable feature is a blue morning glory plant that has been growing out of the top of her head for an unknown amount of time. An obelisk trellis made of wood helps guide its growth to keep it out of her face and off the ground. The morning glory requires regular pruning to prevent overgrowth and any potential overencumbrance.

Morning glories produce fragile, short-lived sky blue flowers. As their name implies, the flowers bloom in the morning, changing from a baby blue to a deep pink, almost purple color by the end of the day. Curiously, Terra's morning glory has only been seen in bloom once in her lifetime.

Current

Despite misconceptions about her current form, Terra is relatively no different than before, save for the growth of her morning glory ██ ███ ████ ██ █ ██████. At her and her plant's current age, it's likely that some amount of physical degradation has affected her, the most probable being the loss of a portion of her body (likely on her left side), potentially having resulted in visual impairment, or in worse cases of being █████████, a total loss of ████(s) and █████, and irreparable damage to █████ ████████.

Relationship with morning glory

Terra views her morning glory as a part of her, rather than an extension or an accessory. She regularly cares for its growth and safety, sometimes to her own detriment, as the morning glory tends to overgrow, affects her physical health, and gets in the way of her daily life. Despite any upsets it may bring, Terra is attached to it and prefers to keep it around. Physically, her morning glory could be separated from her with enough strength. However, with Terra's fragility and the time her morning glory has had to grow inside of her, any attempt to uproot it is likely to harm, if not kill her.

Coverage

In The Wiki Camp 2

Much like the rest of Terra's history, her decision to join and ability to participate on The Wiki Camp 2 is shrouded in mystery. Terra has no previous association with any of the current competitors or any history of seeming social enough to join.

Regardless of this, Terra has managed to make close friends with competitors over time and through various means, with most of them coincidentally being lesbians. Also coincidentally, she became friends with them in relatively quick succession. After growing more comfortable, she felt enough confidence to begin opening up slightly more, most notably by allowing her wiki page to be overhauled with more relevant information.

Relationships

The Computer: As one of Terra's only possessions is a terminal, The Computer is a natural fit for a teammate and friend. While the activities the two can participate in are limited, they seem to prefer simply spending time in each other's presence and occasionally making conversation through text files and other digital mediums. While The Computer is mostly unable to help Terra with any psychological issues she faces, Terra appreciates her regardless.

Mangrove: One of several plant-based contestants, Mangrove and Terra's relationship is primarily based on physical possessions and sentimentality. As Terra is ██████ ██ █████, she is unable to access much of anything, instead having Mangrove bring her items of interest. Mangrove primarily brings arts and crafts, alongside any items fae acquires that they believe Terra would enjoy. Mangrove will often throw in a photo of the outside world for her. One of Terra's favorite possessions is a photo of the Morning Glory Forest.

Challenge One

Terra participated in the first challenge by giving permission to have a wiki article written on her, but asked to manually review it to redact anything she perceived as "spoiler-y," "defamatory," or "outdated" at the time. Despite almost all of the information on her page being redacted, she tied for 35th place with 124 points.

Challenge Two

Terra joined the political party "The Mario Party" through unknown means.

When asked why she decided to join The Mario Party, Terra responded "I was just looking to meet new people."

When told about the organization's true motives and why she decided to remain associated, Terra refused to comment.

Challenge Three

While attempting to modify Edit War, the sheer amount of information being processed on her computer caused several crashes, lag spikes, and BSoDs. On the sixth attempt to view the page in source editor, Terra finally managed to find a section she could start editing. Before she could type a second character, her computer froze, and in a fit of anger, she accidentally submitted her incomplete edit. Miraculously, her edit placed fifth at 751.95 points, 1.83 behind 4th place and 110.83 above 6th place.

Challenge Four

Terra has not submitted an entry for challenge four, denies ever having created an entry, and refuses to state her opinions on the challenge.

Challenge Five

Terra has not created an entry and has asked to not be questioned on submissions anymore. Ok.

In TOSDNE

Terra loosely plays the role of a host in TOSDNE. Although ██████████ ███████████ ███ ████████ ██████, ████████, ███████, and █████ ██████ ███ █████, she does not make a physical appearance █████ ███ █, and, ██████ ███ ████ ███, is purely discussed ███ █████ through a past tense. Despite this, her presence and influence can be felt throughout the story, as she was responsible for ██████████ ███████████, almost every other decision regarding ███ ████, and many other conflicts brought by the existence of ███ ████.

Thematically, Terra can be viewed as █ ██████████ of every other character's ████████ █████, ██████ ███ ██ ████ █████████ ██ █████ ██ ███ ████. One of the most prominent examples can be seen with ██████, who can be viewed as █ ████████ ██ █████ in regards to ███████████, ███████, and ████████, a factor that ultimately contributes to her choice to ███████ ██████████ ██ ████ █████.

Trivia

  • Terra's height is a measly 105 cm.
    • However, her trellis makes up for this, adding an additional 78 cm to her height, bringing her to almost exactly 1.83 meters tall.
  • The specific species of Terra's morning glory isn't confirmed, but is most likely blue morning glory (Ipomoea indica).
    • Heavenly Blue (Ipomoea tricolor) may also be a possibility.
  • Though never explicitly stated, Terra is heavily suggested to be an aromantic asexual.
  • In The Wiki Camp 2, Terra is the only plant-based contestant to not fully be a plant.
