The Wiki League
The Wiki League is Wikiland's premier football competition, with 256 teams each in three divisions, accounting for a total of 768 teams.
Qualification for League A, the highest division, is given through groval championships; a 20-team super league would be weird for a continent comprising a single sovereign state with 166 groves. For some groves, like the National Capital Territory, multiple teams may qualify for the same division by having one win the groval title and the other achieve second place, along with a playoff system if needed. Cup winners also have a shot at qualification, and winners of a lower division qualify for the higher division (ie. B to A). I guess you could say it's just like the UEFA Champions League.
Once the 256 teams in a division are determined, they are randomly placed in different groups with teams from other groves. The winners and runners-up of each group qualify for the second group stage, where the winners and runners-up of that qualify for the double-legged knockout stage. This will go on until the final, held at a neutral venue that can house at least 50,000 spectators.
