The world's most famous tram, known for being the subject of a long debate.

The tram, otherwise known as the streetcar or, more infamously, trolley, is the train's little brother. It is a railway vehicle that is commonly found on city streets, alongside segregated trackage exclusively used by trams. Modern-day trams run on electricity from overhead wires, though the earliest trams were drawn by horses. Cases of runaway trams are very rare, though one tram has sparked a long debate that still goes on today.

Versatility

It was once possible to go from Freeport, Illinois to Utica, New York only using trams.
