Among the most hardworking seals in the world, beavers have been known to create dams to protect themselves against predators and hold their food during the winter, as well as lodges that serve as their home. Though beavers don't really look like a nerpa, they just barely belong to the same clade due to being damned to Hell. They borrowed a baby walrus's tusks and turned them into teeth for gnawing on trees.
Some, but not all Canadians claim beavers as their national animal. However, the actual national animal is a specific baby seal called the caribou. Some may say, "Editor! The caribou is a deer, not a seal!" You were thinking of its cervine impostor, the reindeer. Get it right.
