Cabbage can be green or it can be "[[Red Link|red]]" which is more of a purple color, but people refer to purple cabbage as "red" cabbage. So, keep that in mind. Cabbages come in many layers, much like lettuce, but in a different way.  What is the difference between cabbage and lettuce? I think lettuce is more squeaky. Sometimes cabbages can be longer, like a football (american) but usually they are rounder, like a football (european). I think they both work in dishes because they are both the same vegetable, but in different shapes. I wish other fruits or vegetables came in different shapes. This is why the cabbage is such a great vegetable.

WOW!

Cabbage is a vegetables that is in my fridge right now. It is an edible plant, not to be confused with non-edible plants, and it can be very tasty. Common foods that make use of this vegetable are: kimchi, sauerkraut, sourkraut, cabbage rolls, and cabbage surprise. Perhaps you've seen cabbage at your local grocery store in the produce aisle. I recommend it.

Appearance

Cabbage can be green or it can be "red" which is more of a purple color, but people refer to purple cabbage as "red" cabbage. They're cultivars of the same species. I wish other fruits or vegetables came in different shapes. This is why the cabbage is such a great vegetable.

Appearances

Cabbage can be seen in many tv shows, movies, or other media. Here is the 100% complete list of cabbage in media.

In cooking

I like to cut cabbages down into tiny slivers, thinner the better, and add them to stir fries. I think they make for a nice choice of greens along with green pepper and green onions. So green! A lot of cooking YouTubers tell me that you should separate the hard stem of cabbages from the leafy part and cook the hard part first, and that is probably correct, but I am lazy.

Etymology
