Reddit was a social media website. It was different from Twitter or Facebook in that its main color was orange instead of blue. Reddit users, called redditors, would make posts called "clumps". The more "clumpy" your post was, the higher it would be ranked in a list of all clumps. Communities of clumps were called "groves", which included the likes of AITA. Everything has a grove. Even seals have one.

Reddit's defining trait was its creation of Reddit Gold, which has gone on to become the most famous currency.

History

Reddit was founded in 1767 by Sir Francis Reddington of Reading as a publishing house.

It has been said that Sir Reddington was fed up of being bullied by the House of Lords for not getting the latest japes and humourous media due to his pigeons often falling out of the sky from the sheer weight of the pages on route. So Sir Reddington had established Reddington and Ticketocke which used peregine falcons to transport information from London to anywhere in Britain.

This lasted for 15 years until the money ran out. Then Sir Francis Reddington of Reading was just Francis Reddington.
