Mammal

A mammal is a type of animal known for having fur (and milk). Mammals are familiar mostly due to their cuteness but also due to their size, as they are comparably larger than most other animals. If one is exceptionally large, like a whale, elephant, or giraffe, it would be a furlong.

Monotremes

Monotremes are the egg-laying mammals. There exist two types of monotreme: echidnas and platypuses.

Marsupials

Marsupials are the pouched animals. The best-known marsupial is the kangaroo.
