Accordion

Accordions are special boxes that, when squeezed, make fun tunes. There are two main types of accordion: piano accordions are easier to understand due to fusing with a piano, while button accordions are much harder.

History

"Weird Al" Yankovic was credited for inventing and mastering the accordion. Without his expertise, polka would've been an obscure music genre.

In Russia

There are three words for accordion in Russian: akkordeon for piano accordions, bayan for standard button accordions, and garmon for a certain diatonic accordion.
