FL Studio is a software that allows its users to create fire beats. Those sorts of programs are usually called DAWs(Doing Audio Waves). It was created by Image-Line Software in 1998 and is still updated to this day.

This is how FL Studio logo looks like. I think.

Name

Many users have speculated on meaning of FL. Most popular versions include:

Although we can't be certain since Image-Line haven't put up a statement answering this question.

Piano Roll

A simple tune written in FL Studio's Piano Roll

The way notes are written in FL Studio differs from modern staff notation[2]. FL Studio's way of notating is called Piano Roll. This differentiates it from such applications as Musescore.

Left part of the window is taken by the piano. Right part of the window is taken by the roll. Notes "role" right to left (move)(similar to conveyor belts), hit the piano and produce a sound.

Plugins

FL Studio allows users to use plugins to create music. Plugins can have different formats, such as VST and something else. Plugins can serve different functions, such as synthesizing sounds and changing sounds.

Synthesizers

Plugins can produce sounds. These plugins are virtual instruments. You add them to your Channel Rack

Meowsynth

Meowsynth is a plugin that sounds something between a synth and a cat. :3

FLEX

FLEX is a plugin that comes with FL Studio that allows you to play a variety of MIDI instruments.

Virtual effects

Plugins can do a variety of virtual effects. You add those effects on audio tracks on the Mixer

Soundgoodizer

It makes your song sound gooder.[citation needed]

Fruity EQ

It equalizes the fruitiness of your sound. Fruity EQ 2 have added banana and grape flavors.

Fruity Dance

LOOK AT HIM GO!!!

It adds a cute character to dance on your screen. Dance is synced to current BPM of your project.

Example of a spritesheet made for Fruity Dance.

In order to create your own dancing creature, you would need to make a spritesheet of character dancing (you can have multiple animations per sheet) and a .txt file listing names of all your animations.
