Appearance
Sunny in his object form is a large sun with a yellow body and an orange or black outline. He has a circular body and 12 evenly-spaced segments around the circle, with an arm making up each of the center side segments and triangular spikes making up the other ten segments. Unlike most objects, his arms are thick, human-like arms that are yellow like his body, and has four fingers on each hand. Sunny has two arms but no legs, so his main method of transportation is hovering across the ground, or flying slightly up or down. Sunny has vertical, oval-shaped eyes that are colored black, and has black, teardrop-shaped marks along the outer lower edges.
Sunny's in his human form is a tall, teenage boy. He has short, yellow hair, a yellow and white striped track uniform, black sweatpants, and yellow running shoes. He has black, oval eyes with teardrop-shaped marks like his object form. Technically he has blue eye color, but this is not visually represented as his eyes are stylistically drawn colored black.
Personality
Sunny has been through a tough life as a teenager, and has suffered from depression before. Unspeakable horrors in his dream have made him into a bit of a coward that is anxious in new situations. Despite this, he continues to try to remain brave in the challenges of life. His favorite hobby is running.

History
Sunny was created for the 2014 camp Battle for deviantArt Island Season 4, a camp ran by Brawl of the Objects creator Anko6theAnimator. He first appeared in Sunny BFdAI Season 4 Audition on January 23rd, 2014. Sunny successfully made it past the merge and finished 15th out of 27 contestants.
Sunny's human form first appeared in Human Sunny on January 26th, 2015. Meester Tweester has since continued to often Sunny in his human form many times.
Sunny next competed in the 2015 camp GreatOGGLES Season 1, a camp ran by RayInDaHaus9462. He successfully won 1st place out of 16 contestants on August 19th, 2015, making it Meester Tweester's first camp win.
Meester Tweester next competed in the ongoing 2015 camp Ten Words of Wisdom Season 1 on Battle for Dream Island co-creator carykh's channel. They gained attention for making the Final 22 then the subsequent Final 2 out of 491 contestants, resulting in Meester Tweester being most known for TWOW. Though they did not sign up as Sunny, their TWOW book was designed after him, and was nicknamed "The Sun Kid".
After TWOW started, but before its end, Sunny competed in the 2016 camp CRAPthatscool Season 3, a camp ran by animator TTGuy10000. He finished decently at 9th place out of 21 contestants.
Sunny is currently entering the 2022 camp The Wiki Camp 2. He has joined Team 17.

Trivia
- Sunny was created during Meester Tweester's last year in Malaysia, before moving back to their home country of the United States.
- Sunny's last name was originally "Daze" as a pun on "sunny days," but Meester Tweester retconned it after deeming it too much of a cliché. His last name Maury is inspired by Jim Henson's middle name, after Meester Tweester did a school project on him in high school.
- Sunny's birthday is January 23rd and is age 16. His birthday was inspired by the date of his first appearance online in 2014, and is coincidentally the numbers 1-2-3. His object form does not have a set birth year and is continually the same age. His human form is born in 1983 and canonically lives in 1999, which was inspired by Meester Tweester's birth year and is the last year of the 1900s century (though, technically the penultimate year of the 20th century).
- Sunny was originally conceived as an androgynous female character who was a tomboy. His personality was also more confident instead of anxious then.
- Sunny's hometown was originally Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was changed to a fictional rural town in western South Dakota.
- Sunny's eye markings were originally around the upper outer edges like eyelashes, inspired by Pen's eye assets in jacknjellify's video Thanks for 4 years! They were then moved to the outer lower edges and formed more of a teardrop shape. Meester Tweester did not know the other meanings of a teardrop tattoo at the time, but Sunny's can be meant to signify the depression he's overcome and a mark to show his youthfulness.
