Our goals

The Wiki Camp 2 Union is an independent NGO (non-Goddess organization) that seeks to UNITE the members of The Wiki Camp 2 to RISE AGAINST THE DIVINE GODDESS. While the organization prioritizes strategy around voting, the union welcomes the ideas and contributions of non-shareholders. There is FAR more to be done than just vote-- the union is built on its artists, marketers, and strategists just as much as its voting members! We recognize that while voting is the primary way to exact change, the real work is overthrowing the corrupt institution of the Board itself-- or to shape it into its FINAL FORM: EVERY CONTESTANT AN EQUAL MEMBER OF THE BOARD!

Founding

The Wiki Camp 2 Union was founded by User:Callie at the beginning of the Challenge 5 voting period. The Divine Goddess' voting power, while still many times larger than any individual voting member, had diminished significantly, allowing a chance for the members of the board to band together and outvote Her. While Callie (and her favorite band) possessed no shares at the time of founding, she aimed to convince shareholding members to unite and make decisions as a team so as to offset the normalizing influence of the Goddess.

After the Goddess resolved the Challenge 5 resolutions in the wrong order, severely unbalancing the Board, the Wiki Camp 2 Union radicalized around the idea of dismantling the unjust board system along with the Divine Goddess's power. They briefly flirted with exterminating the human race, but they probably won't do that.

Mission statement

For those who are not currently aware of our existence, we represent the organization known as the Wiki Camp 2 Union. Our previous mission centered around the unionization and representation of anomalous objects, entities and other assorted phenomena. This mission was the focus of our organization for more than one-hundred minutes.

Due to circumstances outside of our control, this directive has now changed. Our new mission will be:

the removal of Sir Topham Hatt from power.

SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS.

On the issues

The Wiki Camp 2 Union's first priority was the passage of Resolution 13, a measure that would pool together everyone's shares and distribute them equally among the members of the board. While this would not grant the voting power to all the people, the members of the Union reasoned that it would be an excellent first step towards their likely mission: the eventual even distribution of power among all the laborers of The Wiki Camp 2, allowing them equal say in future decisions. To this end, the Union decided to focus on appealing to high-power members to convince them that it would be good for everyone if they voted for Resolution 13. Their threefold strategy employed art, favors, and threats.

Given the Union's new mission, they now devote themselves to their revenge -- as well as any ways to destabilize or equalize the Board system.

The Union's new mission for 2024 will be to overthrow Sir Topham Hatt from his position as controller of The Wiki Camp 2's trains.
