Berlin is the capital city of Germany. It is overlooked by the Brandenburg Gate, which in its modern form isn't even a gate to begin with.
Olympiastadion
Berlin's Olympiastadion is a storied football and athletics venue. Though it hosted the 1936 Summer Olympic Games when the bad guys ruled, it hosted many international football tournaments. The FIFA World Cup games the stadium hosted in 1974 were:
- West Germany 1–0 Chile
- East Germany 1–1 Chile
- Australia 0–0 Chile
Chile never won a single game; their only lost was to eventual world champions West Germany.
The World Cup games it hosted in 2006 were:
- Brazil 1–0 Croatia
- Sweden 1–0 Paraguay
- Ecuador 0–3 Germany
- Ukraine 1–0 Tunisia
