Appearance

Diary is a book whose cover takes inspiration from the cover of the deluxe version of Music Sounds Better With You by Stardust. On her back cover is a pen holder that can fit up to eight pens. Inside of Diary's pages is a bookmark which she keeps in her at all times. She is able to use her pens to write cool stuff in her pages, some of which contain her deepest darkest secrets.

Personality

Diary is often considered the "tsukkomi" of the group, and actively tries putting herself in the position of a controlling leader whenever she can. She cares a lot about how others perceive her and aims for winning with the goal of impressing others. She has good luck, and her constant winning streaks makes her think she's better than everyone else. She primarily looks out for herself over others, and her serious and blunt attitude makes her come across as rude.

Interests & Hobbies

Diary is into all kinds of EDM, especially french house. Despite this though, Diary is fortunately not French. She is also a gamer, and a professional Sheik main in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where she previously had an unbroken winning streak in major tournaments from 2019 to 2022.

COLOSSES 2022

COLOSSES 2022 was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate supermajor held on July 30, 2022 and was the tournament that broke Diary's three-year winning streak. In this tournament, Diary made it to grand finals, but was beaten by techtactoe. Following these events, Diary claimed that she found the loss humiliating, and later announced that she would be quitting Smash.

The Wiki Camp 2

In "Challenge 1: Competitors", Diary discovered The Wiki Camp 2 and decided to sign up, seeing it as an opportunity to gain popularity, and more importantly: CLOUT. Upon arrival to the camp, Diary was surprised to see such a large cast of strange and threatening objects to compete against, but assured herself that "she could kick all their asses if she wanted to". She placed 8th in the challenge with a score of 333.

In "Challenge 2: Teams", Diary formed HaZe Online Sports Troupe along with Nurse Cap and started recruiting members. The two went around advertising the team with posters that were supposed to say "join us for competitive games :)", however an error in printing caused the text to be shortened to "games :)", leading to many non-competitive gamers joining the team. Later during the challenge, HaZe unexpectedly got merged with three other teams to form one collective group known as Host. Despite their troubles to work together to create a combined team page, Host placed 1st in the challenge with a score of 297.4.

In "Challenge 3: Edit War", Diary used the newly created Edit War page as an opportunity to start her own yard sale, which consisted of various toys she found throughout the camp, including Make Your Own Statler and Waldorf Joke, Ninety-player tic tac toe, Become Viral On Twitter, Dunk him, Toba Tots® Transclusion Toy, Magic mirror and Make Your Own Toy. Other editors such as Jurta and Copper Pepper eventually added their own toys to the sale, until they all got sucked up by a black hole. Diary would make another cameo later in the challenge, in the form of several Rate Your Music reviews she wrote. Diary would end up placing 3rd in the challenge with a score of 794.46, and received a Nutshell Token for her speedy arrival to the page.

Diary did not have time to make an entry in "Challenge 4: Things", due to her being busy helping Emoticon with finding the NPC in eee.io. However, during her absence a fake version of MATE, a puzzle-writing artificial intelligence created by teammate, joined The Wiki Camp 2 and was quickly disqualified. MATE would've otherwise placed 2nd with a score of 1155.6, but with nowhere else for these points to go, they were given to Diary as compensation.

In "Challenge 5: To Be Confused...", Diary had started playing the five-letter guessing game Wordle, and decided to collaborate with another editor to document its gameplay and cultural impact. Diary admitted that working on the article was a strange and frustrating experience, as the other editor would keep overwriting her work with wrong and made-up facts about the game. Despite the conflicting goals of the two editors, they managed to place 3rd with a score of 500.5. A "girl" counterpart of Diary also made an appearance in the Girl Host visual novel during the challenge.

Classic Mode: Playing Hard, Fast, and Strong

Diary's Classic Mode opponents consist of characters who either play competitive games, or are fighting game characters themselves. She fights her rival {{Enderman Main}} as her boss. All rounds in this route are 1v1s, and each stage is in their Omega forms as a nod to Diary's competitive career.

Trivia

• Diary's portrait and assets were designed by BobTheTacocat.
• She likes to eat peanut butter straight from the jar.
• Her character icon takes inspiration from SebastiAn's single covers, particularly the one for Embody.
• The design of her Girl form is inspired by the cover of Sample Heaven by Mere Notilde, with the pink bookmarks resembling bunny ears.
• Diary was originally going to be themed around Madeon, more specifically his 12122017 EP. Even though the concept was scrapped, this would still carry over to Diary's object, which LUNA chose based on the "THIS IS AN ENTRY IN MY DIARY" line.
• Diary does not like sudoku puzzles, because she associates them with Enderman Main, her rival.
• Diary's birthday is September 9. LUNA chose this date because it's the same day an explosion happened in Daft Punk's studio, turning them into robots.
