Lithuania
Lithuania is the southernmost part of the Baltic region. It has rolling hills, quaint castles, and even a hill full of crosses.
While most of Europe follows football, in Lithuania, basketball, particularly for Kaunas-based club Žalgiris, is the national passion.
Lithuania shares an internationally divided island with the Belarusian International Quarantine Zone, which borders Lithuania to the southeast; just like how the latter shares one with Latvia, which borders Lithuania to the north.
