Not to be confused with the U.S. state of Georgia; New Georgia, Solomon Islands; or Georges Plain, Jamaica.

Sakartvelo is really Georgia, except it's thousands of miles away from the other Georgia. In this country in the Caucasus, animals like bears, wolves, and even hyenas roam the mountains, and traditional Georgian culture is alive. Georgia is traditionally Eastern Orthodox; locals tend to cross themselves thrice when passing a church. You may even stumble upon an ancient monastery. With all the wilderness and age-old cultural traditions, many believe that their land has been blessed by God.
