North Macedonia

Macedonia is a country in the Balkans. It's officially called North Macedonia so as to distinguish it from Greek Macedonia. Indeed, Greek history occurred in the region too, such as the kingdom of Macedon, once ruled by Alexander the Great. Prior to renaming, modern Macedonia was also known as the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM).
