India is a country associated within the Indian Subcontinent, much like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. An enchanting country, India is home to diverse landscapes and cultures, with a linguistic mosaic ranging from Hindi to Malayalam to Sanskrit. It is the birthplace of many religions, from Hinduism and Buddhism to Sikhism and Jainism. Cows are a sacred animal in India; there are around 300 million cattle, including water buffalo. Sportswise, many Indians are die-hard cricket connoisseurs; the country has produced some of the game's all-time greats, from Sachin Tendulkar to Virat Kohli.
