Côte d'Ivoire is a West African country named after the ivory trade, even if the number of elephants is merely in the hundreds. Despite being the world's biggest producer of cocoa beans, the relationship with chocolate corporations is unequal. The capitals of Côte d'Ivoire are Yamoussoukro in the north and Abidjan in the southern coast.
