Antigua and Barbuda

Antigua and Barbuda are a duo of islands that comprise the majority of their namesake country. Antigua is the more popular island, said to have 365 beaches, one for each day of the year. Barbuda, with its pink and white sand, is its little sibling, usually accessible only by boat.
The indigenous language, Taíno, is unfortunately extinct, though there are plenty of Taíno-originating loanwords, such as canoe, barbecue, hammock, and hurricane.
