The Gambia is the smallest country on the African mainland. It is a narrow country centered on the Gambia River, which is home to diverse ecosystems. Monkeys, leopards, hippos, hyenas, and even exotic birds can be spotted around the river. The capital city is Banjul, with its nice, sandy beaches.
Despite the borders, the Gambia River's watershed reaches Guinea.
