Armenia

Armenia is the land of apricots. Its national instrument, the duduk, is made of apricot. Armenia is also the first nation to adopt Christianity as its religion. Today, the Armenian Apostolic Church is one of the Oriental Orthodox Churches. Its churches are almost entirely made of stone.

Chess is highly cherished in Armenia, to the point where it's a compulsory school subject.
