Uganda is a country in sub-Saharan Africa. Its flag notably features a crowned crane, its national symbol. Uganda's capital is Kampala.
Progressivism
Despite the American missionaries, Uganda has made surprisingly progressive moves. Women took up 63% of Uganda's government in the end of 2016, and maybe that number could bounce back to end-of-2016 levels in coming years. Meanwhile, Uganda became the first country to outright ban plastic bags in 2007. Good job, Uganda! Sam from Wendover also mentioned there was only one woman in the Solomon Islands' parliament in his December 2016 video, but that number is slowly but surely rising. Girl power!
